No. The RDX has a turbo engine and SH-AWD which are not available on the CRV.

From Edmunds: "Rumors abound that the RDX shares a platform with the Honda CR-V, which in turn started with the Civic platform. But Acura assures us that the RDX's platform is unique, as it can't share with its siblings due to its SH-AWD."

The engine has nearly 100hp more than the CRV.

So they are both small SUVs made by the same company, but they are not just the same vehicle with a different badge on the front.

It depends on where you are buying the vehicle. The RDX is has more in common with the European Accord platforms than the CRV, which shares a lot with the US Civic platform. The US or "Americas" platforms are engineered for lower price points and different sizes (for example the US Accord platform is larger than the Euro platform). In Europe, the RDX is closer to a "Honda". In the North America, the Acuras are considerably better engineered than N. American Hondas.

No, absolutely not. The Acura RDX has a turbochargred engine while the CR-V has a simple 4 cylinder. The RDX also has the SH-AWD system while the CR-V does not even offer it.

If memory serves the RDX is based off the accord or TSX (accord euro R) platform while the CRV is based off the Civic, the MDX and Pilot though are essentially the same vehicle.

They both use the same platform but the RDX is more upscale and has a turbo. The CRV is the better deal.

yes, they share the same base (major components-wise), it's just that Honda can take one and offer it as a perfectly fine small SUV but also take another and offer it with a turbo-charged heart
