Seems high but maybe not for your case. What did your doctor say about it?

They only sure fire way to know is by an u/s. you can see the heartbeats on the u/s as early as 6.5-7 weeks and you would know for sure how many are in there. you can see the gestational sacs earlier though.

i have identical twins who are 2 years old and my beta numbers with them did not indicate twins.. they were actually low for a singleton pregnancy. we scheduled an u/s to see if my dates were right and lone behold twins!

this twin pregnancy at 15 days past ovulation. my numbers were 587, and two days later they more then tripled and were 1854. I am currently 30 weeks pregnant with Frat twins.

I suggest you check out the web-sight
http://www.betabase.info/index.php
And look at the charts between multiple and singleton.

Good luck and Twins are a BLAST!

i am not sure how the numbers go except that they double every 2nd day and just recently my doctor called me to tell me that my HCG was 9,056 and i went in for an ultrasound and i was 5 weeks and 6 days. i am now 8 weeks and 3 days. so congrats on the pregnancy and the really only way to tell if it is twins is the first intitial ultrasound.

That is really high I think that you are pregnant with twins, On average most women have 50 and above at 4 weeks but that number 2,681 something else is going on

That is not a very accurate method. The only way to find out for sure is with an ultrasound. Congrats and good luck.

HOLY MOLY!

Yes, that is a high level. I say it may even triplets if you've been doing fertility treatments. Mine was a quarter of that at your same gestational age (600s). And, they thought mine might be twins.

Congrats on the pregnancy momma! You'll have to update this to let us know if it is or not :)

This level is low and doesn't signify any pregnancy at all. If your pregnant HCG level is high.
