I worked up until a week and a half before. This was mainly because I had been in a car accident and was so sore from that. Otherwise I had planned on working to my due date. I work at a school and many of the teachers there go out a few weeks early since they are on their feet so much. You'll know when it's time to stop!

I worked as a home economics teacher at a high school when i was pregnant with my first and was going to work up to two weeks before my due date...I had to stop one month before as my blood pressure kept going up and I was swelling up so bad I could not wear shoes!! I would have stayed if had not been for that.

My labor is being induced on Friday, April 20th and I am working until April 19th.

With my first son, I did the same. My son was born on a Wednesday and I worked until that Tuesday--- perfect labor.

With my second son, I got laid off from work at 6 months pregnant where I stayed home bored to my senses--- horrible labor (very painful because epidural only worked on half of my body). The busier you are, the better it is for the labor. Just my opinion.
