What will happen if I send money with PayPal using my bank account and the bank account does not have enough money to cover the costs?

Mine will take the balance minus $5 to pay the rest with my credit card. You have to have a credit card as a backup payment plan though. Mine leaves $5 in my account when this happens.

It depends on the policy of your bank. You might not be able to send that much money, or your bank might treat it as a loan and you will be charged a great deal of interest. It's generally not a good idea to spend or use money that you don't have.

Paypal usually has a backup funding source such as a credit card that you provided so it will charge it to the backup.
