size of male cheerleaders?

How big is the average male cheerleader? I have a friend who is about 6'1'' 190lbs (mostly muscle). He can do back hand springs and the splits (and all that stuff). Is he the right size to do all the gymnastics stuff and cheer in general. Any help from cheerleaders (especially male cheerleaders) is greatly appreciated.

Most male cheerleaders that I have ever cheered with were very muscular. Your friend fits the typical not gay male cheerleader build.
