i just got new headphones for my ipod. but i don't want my headphones to cancel out in one speaker like it did on my previous ones. my mom always wound the wire around the headphones, causing the wire to bend and not transmit a good "music" signal through one ear - making the headphones mono as the case will be. i always buy new headphones every couple years when my mom does this since the wire always bends and such. but she always winds it up without my understanding, she doesn't understand it bends the wire connected to something. what i do is not wind it up against my headphones but you know how headphones are wound up when you first open it inside the box, it's kind of like that. what do you think? i don't want to buy a new pair of headphones

she also does it to game controllers and everything else that is hooked up to a wire so this question is actually a multi-question
