Absolutely. David Wright is the only 5 tool player of the bunch. 5 toolers are extremely valuable in fantasy baseball. Look for him to hit 300, score 100 runs, 28-35 HR, 15-20 SB. Andrew Jones will make up and more for the power loss from Manny. His average will hurt you though. Barfield and Giles are more or less negligable losses. Greene should NOT be on your team. Consider doing the trade, dropping Greene, and picking up another SS (Vizquel, or even Betancourt of Seattle, or Aaron Hill from Toronto). You will also have another roster spot open because you are sending away hoffman (which is also pretty negligable if you ask me). Pick up another guy to get you saves. Some guys that will get you saves and that might be out there: Joe Borowski, David Weathers, Jose Valverde, maybe even Armando Benitez.

Anyway, do the trade and pick up some of the guys I listed. You will be much better off.

I like that trade. You are gaining a great 3b and a good OF vs loseing 2 average 2bers and a Great OF and a closer.

So basicly its Wright and Jones for Manny and Hoffman. Greene and giles and barfield are all a wash and bench players so it doesnt matter.

Wright is better then Manny and Jones is more valueable then hoffman. Thats a + trade for you

I like this deal. Wright is good for HR's, RBI's, and average. Jones' numbers are as good as Manny's, but you would have a lower average and more K's. Greene is a serviceable SS, but his numbers would probably match up with Giles. Hoffman is still a good closer, so hopefully you have a more that adequate replacement for him. Also, you're trading away two 2B's in Barfield and Giles. If you have a good 2B to replace them, then I would probably do this deal.

yu get good hitting, but yu also give up manny and barfield. unless you have another good closer on the team i wouldn't trade away trevor hoffman. overall i would say no to the trade personally. hope this helps.

Depends entirely on what you need and what else you have. In fact thats probably more important than the players themselves.

Its not just certain players you have top be well rounded.
