I'm a young teen and my mom said that if I start eating healthy and excercise that for Christmas she'll get my nose pierced. I really want it done, but I'm not sure if it will look good or if it might cause an infection.
But I think it would be really cool.
What are your thoughts?

I had my nose pierced once and i'm 15 years old.
I didn't get an infection but was close to it.
I had to go to my doctor and he added some rubbing achocol on the nose ring and it cleaned it out good.
It didnt really hurt that much to me.
It was big pinch and hurted for, like 2 minutes and then it just felt warm and stopped hurting.
Didnt even feel it.
Since i had my nose ring, i think it's tacky now.
Dont get it because theres a better chance of getting an infection and it will hurt a lot more.
I dont have my nose ring anymore. I wanted to take it out
Also...it indicates on how good you can take good care of it.
Clean it daily with water and achocol if u do decide to get it.
But theres not always an infection, so you should try it. ...see how it goes for u.
This is one of those times where u should be happy ur mom is letting u get a nose pierced, so i wouldnt pass the opportunity up!

Yeah go for it!!I've got one and after you get it done you should use a no scent mild soap to clean it and use 1/2 tsp. of sea salt put it in 8 oz. of water dunk a cotton ball in it and press it firmly against ur nose. If you do all this twice a day until its healed then you should have no problems. Hope this Helps!!

You can do it, but your nose will never be the same, I have a friend who did it, and every so often she gets it pierced again to open it.
She got hers at 16 and now she is in her 30s and never regretted, but not many people do that, get something young and not regret it later.

I say yes! I had mine pierced and I LOVED it! I had a very tiny silver stud there. It was elegant... I took it out ONLY because it started to get in the way of me getting dressed. It would get caught on clothes. However, I am always rushing. I say go for it. If it doesn't work out, take it out. I did, and it's fine. You look gorgeous!

If you really want it done then go do it. If you have confidence in it, it'll look good. It's all about rockin piercing. Just take good care of it and it won't get infected. Piercings are really cool in general. I have my septum pierced and i was skeptical at first but now it's my favorite piercing. and if you really don't like it, just take it out. no harm no foul.

Pierced nose looks cool on some people. As long as you keep it clean it should be fine. Go for it!

i say you shouldnt because that is so out of style and why would you want to mess up your face like that, beside it makes it look like you have a buger or something on your nose. thats what i always think when i see one

You're young and your mom endorses it, so get it. If you get tired of it or it gets infected, let it close up. No biggie.
