Samurai X and The Wandering Samurai OVA/Movie?

Question

So I would like to watch this story straight through but am not sure where to begin.
A little help would be wonderful.

I'd suggest watching Samurai X Trust and Betrayal first [The first Rurouni Kenshin OVA] because it gives you background on Kenshin which they don't go into fully in the TV series, and gives you more of an understanding of the character and why he is how he is.

Now the OVA is going to be more realistic in the animation and the storyline is going to be more serious and dark with more graphic violence, just be aware it's quite different in tone to the television series which isn't drawn as realistic and isn't as graphic.

After the first OVA, watch the Rurouni Kenshin TV series. You can rather finish the whole series and watch the movie, or just watch the movie halfway through the series, since that's when the movie came out. Its a stand alone story [the movie] so it dosen't matter when you watch it.

Lastly watch the final OVA, samurai X reflections [rurouni kenshin 2nd OVA] as it concludes the story of kenshin and gives and ending.

the choice is up to u..trust and betrayal tells kenshin's life story b4 the series..u culd watch tht 1st or if u tink u're gonna get confused..watch the series..then the motion picture,then trust and betrayal and then reflections..trust and betrayal is very good tho..i highly recommend it..
