I work with a woman whose son plays for a minor league team for the Rockies... I don't know which team it is though, is there a place where I can search for him?

Since the season hasn't started yet, he's probably not assigned anywhere yet. You can check his stats from past years at the Baseball Cube, and when the season starts you can check Minor League Baseball's site for him.

The site to do this is minorleaguebaseball.com and then click on Select Team and then scroll down to the team you want. You should probably then click on By Affiliation. Then find the Colorado Rockies and you should find the team he plays on.
