We took our kids to Disneyland the first time when they were 3, 6, 7 and 10. They all enjoyed it tremendously, including the little one. We took them back five years, and ten years, later, and they enjoyed it just as much or more then ... esp. the middle time.

The primary difference in taking little ones (say under 6) is that you as parents will perhaps enjoy things a bit less, as there are rides and attractions you might want to try that your little ones aren't ready for.

So, my answer is, yes, take them while they are little if you can, and yes, take them when they are older too!!!

I'm 15 and I went last year...I had a blast! I'm just a Disneyland person! To answer your question though, I would have to say ages 6-9. My dad first took me to Disneyland when I was 7 and I remember it good, yet I was still young enough to get autographs and meet the characters. It's really your choice though!

Wife and I are in same predicament. Our boys will be 19 months old when our next vacation comes and have decided to wait a couple years for the Disneyland trip so they have a better recollection when they grow up. Sure they will have fun at that age but doubt they will remember much. Would rather save the pricey trip for later.

I would say it's great for any age group, as long as the children are old enough to enjoy and remember it. The older kids will enjoy the thrill rides, and the younger ones will love the smaller rides and the characters. There is plenty for any age group to enjoy.

i went to disneyland when i was around 8 and i had alot of fun. i have older brothers and sisters who were around the ages of 15-19 and they were bored out of their mind. it is very kid-oriented and if you have little ones they'll have a blast! also take into consideration that its very hot, and alot of walking, so if you don't think you or your kids can handle it then skip it. if you have younger and older children, universal studios would be a great place to take them. my brothers and sisters LOVED it there and so did i. it's been years since i've been and lots has been added since so i'm sure it's even better than what i remember!

They need to be old enough to make through a full day of a lot of walking, line standing, and excitement. 5 or 6 is the youngest I'd try with myself. I was 8 the first time I went. And have gone several times with kids in tow as an adult and LOVED it. If I got married again, I'd honeymoon there for sure.

In my opinion, between ages 2 and 13 is the perfect time.

my personal opinion ages 5 till day of death. that is my personal opinion I loved it when I was a child I loved it as a teen and I love it now. I think below 5 is too young, get tired too easy, there are still so many rides they can not go on.
