Fight depression by actually try to feel depress. When that happens you know how boring it is so then you start to make goals to yourself. These goals WILL be achieved because those are your goals and not anyone elses. Plus you won't pick boring or impossible goals for yourself which assures you a win win situation. While doing these goals of yours, communication and socialism will occur which in return will guide you away from depression.

Running four times a week, eating healthy food (whole grain, fruit, no processed crap), regular sleep. Of course, when I am depressed I have a hard time giving a $hit about doing these things, so there is some paradox there. If I am somewhat regular it really works.

I have a strange way. I like to walk around like i am in charge of everything. I cook, and chatting with my friends online and typing real fast helps. Dancing and listening to the kinda cheery stuff i hate -Aly and Aj

First of all realizing you are getting depressed is part of the solution.
I get busy and fight it....I won't allow it to over take me.
I go and do something nice for some one else....
