That is an old myth. If you lose your hair due to male pattern baldness, it is because of heredity.

Normally, no. Consistently, sure. I have a brother & 2 cousins who are now both bald or balding. They're forty five+. Baldness does not run on both facet of the families. They all wore hats every single day in their teen years to early 20's. Over 10 years, day-to-day. Ask a doctor. It will not rationale hair to fall out, but it's going to discontinue it from developing & as a result in later years, you improve balding. The carrying of hats can all result in hair loss referred to as tension or traction alopecia. According to the American Hair Loss Council: "Traction alopecia is hair loss caused via bodily stress and anxiety on the hair comparable to prolonged use of hair weaving, corn rows etc. Accomplished too tightly on susceptible hair these can motive everlasting hair loss."

It can cause you to lose your hair! Your scalp needs to breath; by wearing a hat constantly yu sweat more causing more oil in your scalp. Clogged pores....hair falls out. You also can develop different types of rashes and fungi from the band around your forehead.
