Hi decentladyjo's,

There are a few things you can do. The first is to be direct with the person and ask him what expects from your relationship. Is he just after sex or does he want a long-term relationship? You need to decide what you want out of this relationship too.

Secondly, does he pay attention to your needs and respect your decisions to rebuff his sexual advances? Men who tend to sexually objectify women are very shallow and transparent. Generally, a partner who really likes you will take the time to listen to what you have to say and try to involve themselves in your day-to-day activities.

Finally, life is short and there are a lot of men out there. Why spend your time with someone who doesn't take the time to like you as a person? I'm sure you've heard Beyonce singing that "You must not know 'bout me", frankly you DESERVE someone who respects your self-worth as a person. So if your current guy is not giving you what you want and deserve and is not willing to change, then just move on.

See it as an opportunity to find a person that really likes you, but finds you sexy as well!

Lust would be he wants to sleep with you right away. You should wait and respect someone. A person who really likes you will want to get to know you, know what you like and dont like, what makes you smile, what makes you happy. Sex will come later. Lust is all about getting intimate right away. Lust does not work. Like does. Like turns to love. You can tell by what he does. Hopefully you will respect yourself enough to let someone like you first.

Any person who truly is into you will communicate affection in various ways: mentally, physically, and spiritually. Its not necessary the elaborate ways of affections that counts; but the small detail issues; such as listening, respect, showing interest, and being trustworthy to the relationship that you two have together. Lastly rely on your basic instinct; above all things, to your own self be true.

Sometimes we can be fooled easily. There are so many guys out there that can play the part or a nice, simply guy who has everything we want, but deep down, only want us for sex. If you really like a guy, and you feel like he's worth it, give your relationship all you have. Be a 100% lady about things. Just keep things simple, like sweet little things, completely sex-free. If he stays, they you know that he's really a keeper. If he insists on sex or leaves you, it will hurt, but you'll know that you were the bigger person, and someone will admire you for that. Its better to be hurt for standing up for yourself, than to give up yourself to a guy keep things "stable". I have faith you can do it!!

I would say to dress really sexy or make yourself look really good and notice how much attention he pays you and then i would say to look horrible on a different day in that same week and if he pays you as much attention as he did the day you looked really good then he likes-loves you but if not he is just lusting
