I was doing hurdles on March 26, Monday, and I landed on the left side of my left foot, so that the sole of my foot pointed towards the right instead of the ground. I heard and felt my bones kind of snap. Now, it hurts when I walk, I can't do a toe raises on that foot, and I can't jog. I have to LIMP. There's no swelling though. What do I do? PLEASE HELP!

outside of actually going to a doctor, just ice the crap out of it and keep it elevated. i've sprained my ankles so many times i cant even sprain 'emm anymore, they just turn over and snap back. still hurts like a son'obeyatch tho

i am like an expert on ankle sprains (1 really bad sprain that sent me to physical therapy and out of sports for 2 months, and 2 minor sprains)

it sound like you have a minor sprain- no swelling or bruising but quite painful. first try not to walk on it as much as possible. Rest. Ice 30min. wait 1 hr. Heat 30min. Elevate. and take pain medications. It will take about a week and a half before it will be better. and even then be cautious. after a few days(and the pain improves a bit) start trying to streatch it. move your ankle around. i know it is painful but try not to limp- it will cause you more pain later(most likely knee or hip pain)

that snap sound you heard was the sound of a ligament tearing. since it isnt swollen and you can walk(limp) it most likely isnt broken. but if you are concerned and its been longer than 2 weeks go to the doctor. hope this helped.

First of all, you should have an xray to rule out a fracture. If no fracture is there, the key for sprained ankle is:

Rest
Ice
Compression
Elevation
