my uncle wants to move to washington state from virginia but they are stuck because of the house they have there and they are afraid to sell it in this situation when prices are down.they are having a hard time to pay their bill every month. they really want to get rid of that house but they think they will have to pay extra 10000 dollars. what do you think they should do?

he should just sell a house and try to find cheaper place to stay.

I think that in the future they should resist buying homes that they can't afford, but now they have it. I would continue to pay the bill unless it was hopeless. Housing markets will come back, and if they let it go back they will have a very hard time financing a home again.
