In Call of Duty 3, what are some good strategies to playing as a sniper?

Tips:

1) Never stay in one spot too long. Players will notice if your racking up kills in a certain spot.

2) Never stay exoposed too long. The best thing to do is pop up scout out the area (only a brief amount of time though) hide then take your shots. Remember to shoot closer objects first and farther ones last (u don't want the closer ones any closer and the farther ones will get closer.)

3) Play COD 3 on veteran. Personaly I took a break from the game for a couple of months and fell behind so I started to play veteran and got my skillz back up to par.

4) Take shots quick don't think about them too much.

5) Shoot when you hear people shooting. This sounds like a bad idea but if you hear enemy gun fire then there probally not focused on you so you might have a shot at them.

If you focus on these you should do good. The only problem I have with sniping is I run out of ammo. Also If you are not have ing a good day switch it up and be something else.

idk about 3, but i play 2 a lot, and im assuming its basically the same. well, if you in window, DONT STAND DIRECTY IN FRONT OF THE WINDOW, stand back a bit, and start at the side of it, slowly moving to the other side, clearing ppl out as you see them the best you can. if you see a place where repeatetedly no one goes, then go there, and snipe. if it has a horrible view that points to no one, leave it. if you see a small crack through a wall, sand bags, boxes etc. try to use that. sometimes theyre directed right to a nice place. Learn your surrounding, if there is a draw bridge, and you hear it, hide to where you can snipe whoever is coming through. if there is an openable door, when you hear it, turn around. Also, if you see a dead person that used a machine gun, exchange it for your pistol. all i cant hbink of at the moment.

and if your thinking about single player, i guess try these, but i usially play multiplayer, so im not sure if they work.

Try and pick spots that are easy to keep an eye on from all ways move around do not camp maybe move after each kill you make and switch it up. Do not expose your self to much

If you can in the game listen to hear if anyone is coming and what direction you might be able to hear footsteps or doors.

In the open move fast crouch, jump, craw and try and have dead aim the faster you can pull it off the better

i know that theres a glich in the game. enimy bulits cant go through bushes. u can crouch and barelly show ur head and be vary affective.
