Just wondering, are there kinds of foods I can eat or drugs(prescribed by doctors, of course) I can take to boost my IQ, or is that impossible?

I have heard recently while watching various news programs that reading (reading in general, that is) can help sharpen your memory, as well as doing puzzles (crossword, sudoku, etc).

If you just want to increase your knowledge base, then pick up a book on a topic that you're interested in, or find a credible website about it and start reading.

Intelligence is about how much you know, so just absorb anything you can.

Your intelligence is sorta a general question... You mean how fast your brain functions to solve problems? Well first off don't do drugs. That ain't gunna get you nowhere. They may boost you up in one area, but weaken you in another. Eat Bananas. Potassium is awesome for your health. Water is good because your subconsiious has to worry about cleaning out your body and pumping blood. Water will make that easier so your brain can process faster. Hope this helps a bit.

You can boost your IQ by reading everything you can get your hands on. It doesn't matter if you are interested in the subject or not. The more you read and learn, the higher your IQ.

Genuine studies show that not watching TV increases your IQ by 10 points. I read this on Yahoo's AP news.

Read a lot. You'll not only be more intellegent, but you'll be informed. You can argue for what you know because you're informed
