Of course an 11-year old can go see John Mayer...although his stuff is pretty tame, the 11 year old might need someone older to accompany them--it depends on the venue.

Check his website to find tour dates.

Sure. I took my daughter to see Avril when she was six, Michelle Branch when she was seven, Simple Plan when she was eight, Raven Symone when she was nine and next year we'll probably take in Aly and AJ (or whatever she's into this summer).

Mayer doesn't strike me as an act laden with offensive language, but you never know who's opening for him. Even if... It's not like your eleven year old will come away from a show with a head full of profanity. It's entertainment that sticks with your child much longer than a movie or a day at the State Fair. If you have a good kid now, you'll have a good kid after the concert (with an experience exclusive of most of his or her peer group).

Take your kid to concert. Enjoy it while you can. In a couple of year's he or she will be wanting to go to the Warped Tour. And while the music is about a billion times better than anything you'll hear at the Mayer show you'll be joining me as the old guy in the crowd with your kids trying desperately not to be seen with you.

John Mayer does not curse in his music. One of his concerts would be alright for an 11 yr old to see. I personally love his music. Its mature as far as talking about love but nothing that is adult oriented. He wont be back in Charlotte until 08/01/07. You can find tickets at the link below.

He isn't that kind of person, but 11 year olds are not probably the best age group to have at a concert, its not the performer, its the people who come to see him.

2 years in the past I went to a Paramore stay overall performance with my final lady pal. The stay overall performance secure yet another sturdy rock band, Jimmy consume international. regrettably, she kinda ruined the adventure by using fact I have been given the stay overall performance tickets for her and she or he complained in the process the experience to the stay overall performance. After the stay overall performance exchange into over, she did no longer fairly think of Paramore exchange into that sturdy alongside with Jimmy consume international. via the way, I spent $a hundred or so for the stay overall performance tickets. Paramore's lead singer, Hailey Williams, is a very sturdy singer stay and she or he's lively. especially lots all of Paramore's songs are sturdy. i desire that this solutions your question and safeguard your self.
