Most women, me included, prefer to meet someone we don't know very well on neutral ground, especially the first time, so that I there is no attraction and we don't plan to date the person he won't know where we live. I guess you would call this "for safety's sake". Sometimes a person you thought you would like, then didn't, can turn out to be a pain in the butt if he is attracted and you're not. In a case like that, you don't want the person to have personal information. E-mail addresses can be changes but you don't want to have to move because the person keeps coming by or calling.

If she hasnt already told you where she lives then I would say this is probably for safety reasons but no cause to be offended here though. Just think of her being downright smart in doing so. In answering such questions on here for first blind dates, I tell the girl t do exactly this same thing for the first date and see what happens. This is also easier for you too as it offer an easy way out if theres no chemistry. Good luck

She wants to see what kind of person you are. Don't worry she will be there watching everything you say and do. From a distance she will decide if your worth a date. If she decides to leave you hanging I wouldn't worry about it. There's alot more women out there! It's basically a safety precaution.( My wife is watching what I write and you know they are always right! ) Good Luck!

Is this the first time you're going on a date? If so, I can understand your apprehension. If not, then you've got a lot to learn about girls, my boy.
Take it as it comes. Don't try to get behind everything. If you're both genuine, things will work out the way they should. Meaning, either this friendship will progress further, or it will terminate.
But don't make an a-ss of yourself asking HER the question you've posted.
Good luck.

Good for her, she is being totally careful. Her own transport, meet in a public place -- for safety reasons, and she has a way out. Don't be offended. It's not like a regular "date".

This is a smart move on her part, and has nothing to do with you but with her control of the situation. Go and have a great time & if all goes well you'll be taking turns picking each other up in no time!!
Your sweet for even asking thisâ¥

Usually when a girl wants to meet you, it's because she doesn't know you or trust you yet. It only means you are going on a date with a very smart girl. Have a good time, and don't try to read so much into things.

Because she hasn't met you yet I would guess it is for safty reasons that she bring her own car in case things turn out badly. You must think of safety in these times.

That she will meet you at the restaurant!
It's not a bad thing, you guys just don't really know each other yet.
But good luck, I hope your date goes as planned.

She's just being cautious. There are alot of horror stories that we ladies hear daily. After this date, see how comfortable she seems. Good Luck!
