How much is the labor fee(approximately) for placing grass in the yard. or what percentage?

It depends on the square footage and what type installation you are using. Hydro-seed is more expensive than seed and straw. There are machines that put the seed right in the ground for you that you can rent at your local equipment rental. In our area, hydro-seed is about $0.35 a square foot with a minimum of 500sf. Seed and straw is about $0.25 per sf. Installing a yard isnt that difficult, but can be hard work. Once you do get the lawn installed be sure to water it and dont mow for a few weeks or you'll pull the grass out by the roots. Good luck

Not knowing your location, I would recommend looking in the yellow pages for a landscaping outfit. The price of the sod and the labor vary for differant areas.

To tell you the truth every company will most likely be different. Where they get the sod from, how big the company is. It all matters. We just put in like 2 pallets of sod in at someones house it was I think altogether about $700.00. That's not a bad price at all she only got it that cheap because we know her.
