Why are men always scratching themselves down there?

Too much warmth caused by underwear and pants--- makes those little guys get sweaty which leads to rashes and such, and then that itch starts. Some women get the same problem in the summer if their bras are tight under their breasts.
Of course, women don't usually just start scratching around everywhere in public--- but men, well, some of them just aren't really very aware of how they look to others (note "plumber's crack" etc.)
Plus, if you're holding a brewsky in one hand, what on earth are you going to do with the other one? Well, scratch something, of course!!!

Well most people might say it itch but I say they r feeling down there 2 reassure themselves it's still there. See, sometimes it can be so small they can't feel it thru their pants(lol)Ha!Some lonely men r unfortuately playing with themsellves, some r scratching n hopes that they make it longer. Some men do it cause they think holding an touching themselve is cool. Some may have crabs an the list goes. I'm a female so i am just guessing.

Because we can't simply gnaw at it like a dog does. IT ITCHES! We just happen to be more comfortable with ourselves than women on average. We won't sit for hours denying the urge to scratch in fear someone might see.....we don't care!

I know this guy, and have known him for years, its funny cause everytime he scratches down there, he coughs at the same time, maybe he thinks by doing so no one will notice lol.

I think it might be that the area down there is sensitive and easily irritated, most men do it in a private & respectable way.

If you ever have boy children don't scorn them about the issue, just teach them the appropriate way to do it (privately)

Yeah GL on this one kuz u aint gonna get no good answer and half of them are right we scratch kuz it itches i mean i know this is prolly dumb but what if it were u and u were itching down there wouldnt u do the same. and another one is hair gets in the way and just like getting ur hair cut if u had hair still in ur clothes its gonna itch its like that

True Answrer" Because guys now a days think that they need to keep adjusting themselfs in order to look cool, to try to fool others into thinking they are as slick as sh*t off a shovel, and they are better then everyone else. Truthfully, the guys who feel the need to contienuously scrat themselfs are likely just checking to make sure it didnt get lost among the pubic hars that rival its size. Basicly...because guy are so incecure that they need to try to convince themselfs that they are the "top dog" and in high demand, when the truth is they they have no idea who they are, so they wander aimlessly trying to do what is commonly thought to be "manly" in order act like a badass.
