You do what works with your family. My husband and I both work, but I have my office set up in my home. We have our own business so I set my own hours. Talk to your husband about what is best for your family.

I know of plenty of stay at home fathers, and they do a great job at that, whilst the woman works, role reversal... when i was married, i stayed at home, and my then husband worked, this is how we both wanted it, its whatever works the best in your own situation and home, but you both just need to talk about what is going to work best for you, what you both want and your family, there isnt any set rules these days.

I think that what ever works out best for the family is best. In my family my husband works to support us (we have 3 kids) and that works for us. I have friends where the dad stays home and I also have friends where both parents work. It really depends on their abilities, desires and financial situation.

It depends on your financial need. Some families, like mine, need both incomes. My husband and I both work full time. Do what is best for your family.

Spouses should be able to do whatever they damn well please. There are no set "roles" anymore. Women can work and men can stay home.
