if I were a betting man, I would put my money on the Mavs.
They are the most complete team, and are pissed off that they let last year's finals slip through their fingers.

right now its Mavs because they have good offense with a great consistant defense. If Dirk does good which he will because he has experience, reason why he choked in the NBA because Heat played great defense on him and was nervous while playing. Suns can if no team can stop them
Lakers has a lil chance unless Lamar Odom, Luke Walton, and Smush Parker takes turn dropping 20 point or more to help take over the scoring off kobe and kobe can pass more and still drop 30. If the bench steps and bring offense and defense and does good in every game. If the team plays great defense. Bynum has to be the Center that the laker look forward him to be. Lakers has to stay healy, Vladimir has to come and brian cook to spread the defense out with their abilities to shoot and make 3 points effectively. Everybody has to do their best to take the relieft off kobe to score all the time. let Kobe take over during the 4th quarter with less than 6 minutes to go. If that all happen it would be hard to stop them especially to stop Kobe Bryant

The Mavs were the first in the NBA to clinch a playoff spot. They are 58-11 right now. Because the NBA playoffs are nothing like March Madness, the best team wins. The Mavs are the best team!

I would bet youre going to see either a rematch of last years finals, or Suns Vs. Pistons. Dont be suprised to see the Spurs in there either. The longshot team, but only other team in the East that has a shot would be Cleveland, but I think theyre too young and inconsistent to really be considered contenders. This years winner will come from the West.
