well, i'm not going to make fun of your question, but honestly it's good to know something. for example, when you get older how to manage your checking and banking and keep up with you money (accounting), when you're sick, instead of panicking, you can at least know what may be wrong (biology and health), to learn proper grammer and syntax for appling for a job for example (english), and to the your history of where u came from and what people had to go through so you could be here on the internet today (government, world history, womens history, socialoligy).

One of the reason I go to school is to learn. I have to admit I hate it most of the time, but I'd rather go to school than be an idiot. I like to learn about the subjects that interest me like computers.
If people did not go to school then we would not have people going through college to be doctors, lawyers, business managers, etc. Without school our economy could not function properly. We wouldn't have enough educated people to properly do their jobs. That's why we should go to school and waste our play time :)
Also I go because I have to and I want to graduate so I can go to college and actually make enough money to raise a family.

It's not "are", it's "our".
I went to school when I was a kid to avoid getting beat up by cops for being a truant. The good old days.
Later I went to college because my parents wanted me to go and I wanted them to be proud of me.
Then I went to graduate school because the profession I wanted to enter required an advanced degree.
I don't go to school anymore, but I'm constantly learning new things in my profession, investment activities and hobbies.
I went to school to learn how to learn, so that I could eventually teach myself for the rest of my life.

so parents can get a break from kids...and also because society today is based on money. so you have to go to elementary school (where you get recess and breaks) so you can go to middle school (where you only get lunch and breaks off of school), to high school (where classes are tougher and the teachers are jerks), to college (where we start to live on our own and get longer breaks off of school and the teachers are even bigger jerks), to working in the real world...where you dont get anything but a crappy boss.
that is why we go to school...and get locked up for seven hours of the day...and sit in classrooms the whole time..and then get blamed for being overwait...hmm hypocritical isn't it?
