Not sure about the first, but the second means to not bother anyone and go about your business.

If the first one is equivalent to "go jump in a lake", it means to get out of here, you are being an idiot.

I think the first one means go dunk your head in a barrel of water.

The second one means to not harbor a grudge...to let it go.. because.nobody's perfect: Live and let live.
