I suspect foul play on a recent fantasy baseball trade, because I think the minimum number of vetoes in a 15-team league is 6, and I'm pretty sure there were not 6 different vetoes. Can someone veto multiple times to get to the 6, just to get out of a trade?

It depends entirely on the league - different leagues have different rules, and some have no vetoes at all, some have a commissioner, etc. Even on yahoo leagues can be set up differently.

In no league would you get multiple votes.

WHy don't you post the proposed trade here, to see what people here think of it, and if they'd veto it.

P.S. - here are the default rules for Yahoo Fantasy baseball - note that in custom leagues, the veto procedure can be anything.

"In a Public League, an objection of four or more managers within two days will veto the trade. In a Custom League, either the league managers or the commissioner have veto power for the length of time chosen during configuration.

If your Custom League is configured to use the League Vote option, one-third of the league managers must vote against the trade in order for it to be vetoed. For example, if your league has 12 teams, then four votes against the deal are needed to veto the trade."

Since your league has 15 teams, five votes would be needed, if you are playing in a Yahoo Basic Fantasy Custom League.
