For a 8-team league, you did pretty bad.
Pitching is thin - you need at least another closer badddd.
Ray Durham isn't that good either. I suggest you pick up Ian Kinsler who is supposed to be awesome this year.
I also suggest you use Todd Helton as a trade bait to get some help on your pitching.
I think you will end up around 5th place in your league.

In an 8 team league, this isn't a great team. I actually like your starting pitching the best out of everything you've got, though Harden and Sheets are injury worries, and could use one or two more. Good power from your lineup as well, though you could use some more SBs.
As has been said, you have too many position players on your bench. Try and trade some of them to upgrade your pitching, or get more guys that can play multiple positions (though Bill Hall will help you there). One or two more real closers if you can, and try and keep Soriano and Rodney, who are solid relievers, and may close at some point during the season. Another starter or two wouldn't hurt either. I'd keep Barrett, Kent, and one of Francouer/Burrell, and try and move the rest of the bench guys for more pitching.
I don't know if Neshek and Geary have much value- maybe you drop them for some starters, or a guy like Jorge Julio, who's now a closer. Though he's probably gone if anyone in your league is on the ball.
More than anything, try and enjoy it. Your first season will be tough, but you'll learn a lot, and hopefully enjoy it enough to come back again next year. Good luck!

Drop Rodney and Soriano (they're not closers) and go get Jorge Julio (may still be available) or any other actual closers... you really only need 3 total, 4 is bonus.
By your listing, it seems that you might for some reason have 5 RP spots, in which case ignore that above. (Look for Matt Capps as someone people might have passed on).
You need more pitching, I suggest Rich Hill, John Maine, Adam Wainwright, and Chuck James as all potential good pitchers that might still be on the wire. (They won't be for long once the season starts).
Try to trade Barrett, a backup catcher is unnecessary. Ray Durham isn't great, and Zito is overrated. Likewise, so is keeping a backup for each position since you can usually get a few guys like Nick Punto (out for 2 weeks) and Ty Wigginton who play several positions.
Overall not bad... you'll probably finish 4th-ish... kind of a weird format though.

Looking at your team I must say that I am quite impressed. It is obvious to me that you must be very experienced and possess a great deal of baseball savvy. Your team is among the finest that I have seen this season and I commend you on your choices.
You have assembled a team with a great mix of speed and power, as well as a very solid pitching staff. Although there may be some injury concerns, the depth that you have built into this team is extraordinary. You appear headed to victory and a very satisfying season.
If you haven't done so, I suggest that you look into the possibility of making this more than a hobby. You certainly have some keen insights on the way a baseball team is assembled.
Good Luck

Wow you drafted horrible for a 8 team league. The only two guys you have are Derrek Lee and Jose Reyes and that is not a good thing. Your pitching rotation sucks, Ben Sheets and Felix Hernandez? Wow man and the saves part just rips your team apart because you NEED saves.

I'd give it a 4, not much going on there. I would check for available free agents. Try and get rid of some of the weak players.
