I am sorry what do you mean by "has no many i have intreupted the relationship" have no idea what you are talking about.

Basicly you tell the police you have no idea and she gave you the check for a birthday.

So did you sign the name ?? did you change the amount ?

if not merely say so, and that will be the end of it.

Present your signatures to show that you did not forge the check of your friend. Your signatures and the signature on the check must be examined by aq handwriting examiner to conclude that the signatures were not written by the same person.

If she sues you then the burden of proof is in her to prove that you forged the check. However, any proof you have that you didn't forge the check is to your benefit.

The simplest way to prove you didn't forge her check would be a hand writing sample. No offense, but based on how poorly you spell basic words, I doubt you are capable of forgery, but that's just me.

first of all if u never had access to her check book then how would you have been able to sign her name??? secondly, if signature didnt match what the bank had on file then the bank would not have cashed the check...i wouldn't worry if i were you...

They have to prove the signature isn't hers and it is yours. Ask for proof.
