Seeing as the Xpack just came out, I would suggest doing Horde Pally or Alliance Shammy. I can guarantee you'll become addicted to the game and get a subscription. Once you get to higher levels, those two classes will be the most coveted.
The best thing you can do is turn back now... It will eat your life and make you fat. That said, enjoy the game. If you roll a character on Shattered Hand, give a "what up" to Saxen.

First off there are no "Clerics" in WoW mages maybe warlock too but no clerics, and for your answer it all depends on you, do u like to be right in the middle of the fight ( warrior, palidin,druid) do you like to be in the back but still doing damage? ( mage, warlock, shammy, hunters are ok for this too) or just healing others so they can do the fighting?(palidin, priest druid) it's all up to you and what part you like to play, mess around with each class and see which one fits your style then decide... everyone has their own opinion of which one is better the decision is yours, you're the one that has to play the char

You should probably choose a warrior because its a good starting class, but warlock is a fun class a caster with a pet if you make a lock or anyone go to staghelm add necris to friends list.

Clerics are awesome if you enjoy helping people when they fight like I do. They're always wanted in parties, so consider being one.
