That my first love and i will be together
again living on our 5 acres finding peace
in nature, this hope is a delusion for i want
her to make her marriage work, my love
for her is such that i want her happy where she
is, yet, my love for her has never died, and
because of this i cling to my delusion that someday
we will have each other.....
hardly,
yet, when she visits we spend some of the most beautiful moments
together and we keep our spirit as true friends so that
we both know
we have respect and trust for each other when
we travel together on our few days of adventure,
we are the same in thoughts, mind & spirit,
~
this is no delusion,
but a reality to bear witness of
how two may still be in love and
keep a separate life,
both clinging to our delusions
that we are still together ~
perhaps only within our mind & hearts
does this delusion live ~
