2) balance - if you play up your eyes, keep the lips to a minimum; if you put on fire-engine red lipstick, keep eyeshadow at a neutral
3) mascara is a girl's best friend
4) for soft, natural waves in your hair, apply mouse to damp hair and scrunch all over. if that's not possible, take a shower at night, braid your hair when it's wet, and keep in on overnight.
5) the best exfollient is plain white sugar. make a thick paste with sugar and water, slather it over your face and keep it on for 10 minutes, and rince. your face will feel fresher and lighter.

Try to wash face most of the time with cool water, never hot. Cold water gives your skin a natural glow. I heard people in Romania would wash thier face with snow to get that glow.

If my face feels really dry. I mix a very small amount of moisturizer to foundation and apply. This gives a nice and fresh dewy look.

If I run out of shaving cream in the shower, I use hair conditioner and it works just as good.

This one is not really a secret but it works really well, to lighten/bring out highlights in hair, take a clean squirt bottle, squeeze lemons in to it. (try to fill it about 3 quarters of the way) Then fill the rest of the bottle with water. Finally spritz on hair. Works especially well if you put it on then go "bask in the sun" of go to a tanning bed! Just be carefull and dont get lemon juice in your eyes! OUCH!!!

So you don't get lipstick on your teeth, apply the lipstick then put your finger in your mouth and tighten your lips around the finger and pull out. I know it sounds insane but it works!
