some viruses require special removal tools. try these.

◙ Sometimes you'll get a particularly nasty virus that cannot be removed with conventional tools. For times like these you can (quite often not always) download a removal tool for that specific virus. Below are some sites you should look at.

☞ http://www.bitdefender.com/site/Download/browserFreeRemovalTool/

◙ Below is a tool called "Stinger" that Mcafee put together with all 54 of it's tools in it.

◙ GLOBAL VIRUS ALERT -- The latest virus outbreak alerts from F-Secure, Trend Micro, Panda, and Sophos. Each anti-virus fighter is reporting the state of the Virus Battles on its front, which reflects a unique customer and geographic profile.

◙ Add free viarus alerts to your web site.

you are not the only one with this problem. i have seen it in here 4 or 5 times lately. no one came back and said how to fix it.

if the above tools don't help then stop using internet exploder and install mozilla firefox. then get the fasterfox extension to speed it up

Sounds like your browser has been hijacked. Despite what you found with your spyware check program, SOMETHING is redirecting your browser. You need to go to Control Panel and select Add/Remove programs. After it populates, check for any programs that could be adware/spyware.

Also, go to Tools > Internet Options and make sure your home page is set where you want it to go. If it's set elsewhere, it may be designed to take over and redirect your browser after you do a search.

A good spyware/adware cleaner is a must. I suggest Spy Hunter and SpyBot. Spy Hunter is about $30. SpyBot is free (at least the last time I checked); you can get it at http://www.cnet.com

Good luck.

If you are not specific when running a search you will find yourself getting all kinds of links - some not so nice.

Instead of puppy stuff, search for "Daschund sweaters" or "canine toys" or whatever.

For something like puppy stuff, you might want to go through a site known to be "clean" like www.amazon.com or www.bizrate.com.

Make sure you're using the left click
Also don't hit "delete" sometimes that brings you back a couple pages

Other than that, call a computer technician
