I have a girl who goes to piano lesson and girlscout and 1 more activities at school . But other people send their kids to 3, 4 or more activities.

Do you think gymnastic, kumon , dance lesson, second language lesson are necessary?

If you have a school age kids will share your kids activities?

(she doesnt really good at sports nor like it) Should I encourage her or just follow what her interest?

i'd try her in sports you'd be suprised like i'm not a jock girl but being in a team sport u make more frineds and also if your worried about her stayin out of trouble sports are great cuz u have to keep ur grades up and the team depends and counts on u not to mess up in school and out of school it forces u to be good. like i've been in a couple of fights this year but now the team tells me to back off it and let it go. the trouble most teens get into isnt worth losing playing time. you'd be suprised how good u are at something u may not know u like. I'm in softball its a fun sport, she'd make good frineds. not sayin that she doesnt have any already just dont push her to do too much cuz when she gets older she may want to rebel...

Some of the best after school activities for girls are
1) Girl Scouts-give girls a chance to be active in the community while learning new skills
2) Dance lessons-give girls the opportunity to stay fit by using dance as an exercise
3) Cheerleading-allows girls to participant in a sport that does not have physical contact and that can lead to a rewarding career.....

i was never into sports back then and i reeally wish my parents pushed me cause i now love them and i cant evn go back into time and actually like it and have the chance to be a good player. well im a freshmen and i wasnt a great runner in my 8th grade year and now im really good runner but not the best. but u see, if i could have joined running wen i was in elementary skool, i would be the best runner in town. u should let her do track or cross country. she'll thank you later on in life cause u doing running in lots of things and it keeps the girl in shape. but i also used to do dance {hiphop && ballet} sooo much fun. thats another thing she could do. i honestly think its best to have the girl with many activities to see which one shes best with. =]

I think people stress kids out with way too many activities. It sounds like in addition to her school work your daughter has plenty of activities. Just let her be a kid after school and play outside once in awhile.
