IS this at all possible, and would there be a way for us to be able to see them, ever in action?
Just a thought....somebody brought this up to me....and even though I don't really know....there are times that I think about this..and think, I "would be" quite possibly doing other things in my life... had I ,not gotten some help, in life,, or had I been more driven in my life to accomplish these things.....so, perhaps, I am in another reality, somewhere...doing just that!!!!

What do you suppose about your lives? Anyone?
Any why or why not do you come to your conclusions?

Yes, without much technical stuff lets look at our dreams--each person experiences numerous dreams each night, whether remembered or not the dream realities are realities too, so we can have more than one reality and we can be in few places at once. I hope it helps.

The idea of alternate realities is actually quite a bit more technical than most people care to think about.

This is because that not only could there be alternate realities of any major 'decision' in our life, but theoretically a billion trillion quatillion possibilities could be so from every moment that takes place, and the same for every alternate moment, and an alternate for every alternate, etc etc etc.

Actually, its closer to say that there are an infinite number of alternate realities, and an infinite number of alternate realities of alternate realities, so one could spend eternity looking into a hall of mirrors or one could turn away and go get a ham sandwich (or whatever else one decides to do.) I always (or almost always) prefer the sandwich I eat to the sandwich I could have eaten.

Well, this site called the Library of Alexandria has several theories on multiple universes that could be equated to alternate realities: http://www.halexandria.org/dward408.htm

This site asks the question, "How does quantum computation shed light on the existence of many worlds?" You have to go a little ways down in the article to find it: http://www.newscientist.com/channel/fundamentals/quantum-world/mg19225811.800-lone-voices-special-at-play-in-the-multiverse.html

This site discusses parallel universes: http://www.metafilter.com/25712/Parallel-Universes

Here is a site discussing mulitiple universes with an audio clip from the Art Bell radio show: http://www.manyuniverses.com/indexH.htm

Then there is the Quantum Physics "String Theory " which was formed within the framework of Quantum Field Theory. A prediction of the String Theory is that space-time has 10 dimensions. As formating grew it developed into the "Superstring Theory". With all this going on someone developed the "M" Theory or the Mother of all Theories. Here is the site, M Theory is discussed at the bottom of the page: http://www.damtp.cam.ac.uk/user/gr/public/qg_ss.html#mtheory

So . . . . . it doesn't look like alternate realities is in the realm of fantasy anymore. It looks like it just may exist.

There are of course what you may call "different realities" even if they exist now in your mind only they might become reality later - it is up to you. Many people have altered their own reality and changed it dramatically just because they dared to dream, hope, believe and manifest their ideas. I think it will be more comfortable to you to call this "Possibilities" .
Of course some methods would teach you about other "realms" of reality and you can start with meditation daily and see for yourself. I have tried this and this too and that is where Im coming to you with my answer. (www.kasamba.com/Thinker Bell)

I firmly believe in alternate realities and parallel universes. How else can you explain so many cultures having the same "myths". ie Unicorns, Dragons, Pixies, Faeries, even bigfoot when there is no physical proof in this one? I think that some of these beings have the ability to cross the lines, so to speak. And what about dopplegangers?
Anyhow, just my take on it.

I have believed in the existance of other dimensions even before I read "hyperspace". Yes, it is possible and very probable that alternate realities exist wherein we are living somwhat divergent lives from what were living in this dimension. I cant explain why I believe. Only that I do believe.

As the famous poem Robert Frost said, "Two roads diverged in a wood, and I -- I took the one less traveled by. And that has made all the difference." The original movie, The Butterfly Effect is a wonderful study in altered choices and their consequences. If you haven't seen it, it's worth the view.

I have never witnessed an alternate reality.
I've also never witnessed a quark, or a supernova.
I believe in the possibility of their existence, however.

yes sometimes i would get the feeling like deja vu but the difference is that in my mind Im thinking whoa! it felt like my other self in another reality or parallel universe is doing something very different. is hard to explain for example: in one instance i was sitting down calmly when all of a sudden i get this feeling like im going to get in trouble but nothing happens and in my mind im playing out scenes that is supposed to happen but it doesn't. damn i just got a headache writing this confusing statement.
