feeling nervous while wearing a tank top?

Do you feel nervous or weird when you wear a tank top?

I'm pretty skinny and my breasts are little..For some reason, I feel nervous when I wear one..then I take it off..People look so comfortable when they wear tanks top.I'm the opposite..I want to wear tank tops though..

What should I do to get over this nervousness? Why do I feel this way?

If you're petite (which it sounds like you are), you are the perfect person to wear a tank top! Since tanks are kinda form-fitting, they should only be worn by those with nice physiques. Many girls with larger breasts would love to trade places with you so they could feel confident that guys weren't ogling them while they wear tanks! Try looking at it that way. :-)
You might want to ease yourself into wearing them. First, wear them to bed w/ you PJs or something like that. Then, wear them around the house on the weekend (like around your fam). Then venture outside with one on but stay in your yard or in the neighborhood. Keep progressing slowly and make sure you are comfortable at all stages before moving on. You'll be fine in no time!

i sort of have the same problem, i just hate when people stare! its annoying, anyway maybe you should try a new bra that you feel comfortable in, that way you can feel comfortable in something and sooner or later you'll get used to it. i think it doesnt matter if u are big/small chested tanks are cute on everybody, well everyone except a 400 lb person! j/k that sounded a little mean.

well i think you should buy a tank top that is a little lower to show a bit of cleavage maybe it would help or wear one under a sweater or something and then take of the sweater you will be a little bit more conmfortable taking little steps and its really easy to pull of a tank top don't worry and plus if your skinny it will look better on you than in a thick chick

i used to have that problem.

though im still skinny, i 've learned to love myself!
it takes a while, but you'll get there too, don't worry.

what you have to realize, is that tank tops are made for us. if you want to wear one, but don't feel comfortable showing that much off, try layering your clothes.
it eases you into wearing them.

soon, you'll feel comfortable enough to wear one on it's own.

and i know it's hard to deal with because it seems like all guys care about are big boobs, but not all guys are like that. trust me :-)

I get nevous too when I wear one!! I don't like showing myself off like THAT!! if u don't like wearing one then I think that t-shirts are the way to go!! I just wear tanktops to bed. Just wait 'till u feel comfortable in one!!!

ok well i have the same problem i am super skinny and have little boobs and i just try to live with the nervousness and i think u feel like this because everyone around u might have bigger boobs! i hope i helped thanx bye bye

i no how u feel. i feel like all the guys only look at down.... so i cant wear them. ur not the only one!! just wear what you feel comfortable in. you may get over it.

i know i should be all like "embrace yourself and your beauty," but sometimes you just need a pushup bra-lol. victoria's secret has some great ones. and failing that, guys say that small-chested girls wearing a tank top without a bra is sexy...[i dont get it either.]

same problem! but i dont really care what other ppl think about me or how they look and i dont try and compare my self with other girls. so i wear them anyway.
