It is rich with history and has been a patch of land to cause allot of grief between nations and religions. It doesn’t make it the greatest. And what does make country great? Politics and position of the country on curtain issue? Or is it's history? Or religion perhaps? No.
Simple answer, as far as I understand – it's people. People are to make country the greatest. And if you consider Israel to be the greatest, it is your right, as it is my righ to consider USA to be the greatest.

according to the bible ...the first war on earth took place in israel and the last war on earth would take place in israel which would be good v/s the evil (it is mentioned in the last chapter of the bible "apocalypse" or it is also called as "the revelation of john") .....(plz select this as the best answer)(appreciate my knowledge because though im not a christian i know about it)........but for me my country is the best!

You've got me....I've got no clue why anyone other than the Jews would consider such a small split of land and it's people the greatest. I think they're a fun bunch and all, I just don't see how they could rank #1 by ANY metric.

The only reason Israel exists is becaue of the military hardware and foreign aid they get from the US. If they didn't have the backing of the US Israel would have been deystroyed long ago. I'm not trying to be racist, so please don't take it that way.
Nonetheless, where do you think Israel would be without support from the US.

I don't believe it is.. other than to the Israelis. i kind of like my own country.
Personally there is nothing about Israel that would ever tempt me to live there..... it is a war country.. is now and always will be.
