Yes and just as good as the ones you buy in the store. I have them growing all over my yard. To be sure they were edible I took some to my local countly extension office. I was told they were good to eat. I loved the smell after cultting the grass. I used them and they were fine. Best of all you don't have to pay for them.

Oh yes! In my area of Oklahoma wild onions and eggs are cooked together. No doubt this comes from the Native American influence in the area. You cut up however many you want and cook the onions in a little water until they are tender and the water cooks up. Then you break your eggs over the top of them with a little butter as you normally would your scrambled eggs.

Yes. But before you eat them make sure you are eating onions. Other plants can smell like edibles but are dangerous to consume.

yes and they are good. I pull them right from the ground, wipe them off and bite. A little dirt never hurt anyone. Laying in the grass looking at the sky and eating onions, nuttin better.

Not to my knowledge. If you notice; not even the wild animals eat them.
