Okay, I went to CVS I bought a water I asked the cashier if I left my truck there if it would get towed he told me no and told me he wouldn't say anything about it to anyone. So I went to Busch Graden's where I have passes for and pay for parking and couldn't park. So when I returned my truck it was towed away. I think that CVS should have to pay since there empolyee told me I wouldn't get towed. However, they did have a sign saying "Pete's towing" but I couldn't see the sign because another vehicle was parked there.

Laws vary from state to stae and since you didn't say which you live in ,,,I can't refer to your states law as reference...

However regardless of what anyone even an employee of an establishment... om the emnd you are always responsable for your vehicle...

Since you mention there is a Towing sign with a specified towing company you really do not have a leg to stand on unless the towing company screwed up and violated the law.

you're out of luck..

In Idaho before a vehicle can be legally towed the towing company mist have a sign with there name and ph # posted...

without it... both the towing firm and the Property owner become liable....

FYI I currently have a pending suit against yhe YMCA, the towing company and the other company they sold my car (which they knew a pending lawsuit was in process) for about

$25,000 in damages the car is an ultra rare 1979 Duster optioned Volare with several Duster options and recalled items...

it is a one owner 42,000 actual mile car which ran and drove like brand new...

while you can disagree all you want, you must have solid fact and and the basking of local or state laws...

FYI the Towing firm owner cooked his goose in my case... sid signs that were not there were.... upon hearing this I got that days news paper and had a friend take digital pics with me standing in front of sign post which didn't have the name and ph # of the towing firm required by state law...

I saved this newspaper for court... because it proves the date signs were not present as towing firm owner claims...

Both towing firm and the buying firm which took possesion of my car damaged it and are being held liable... for its entire show car speciofications restoration costs...

A few years ago, I went to a music festival in downtown Seattle. I parked at a McDonald's across the street, not knowing that it was "30 minute parking only" there. There were signs that said this, but their were cars in the way and I didn't see the signs. Guess what!! I got towed. And guess what!! I had to pay around $250 to the tow-truck company to release my car. You could call the tow-truck company and tell them that the sign was obstructed, but legally, they had the right to tow you. If they care that you're upset (which most of them don't) then they MIGHT work with you, but chances are they will not.

It seems such as you may have given the safeguard purely the information pertaining on your motor vehicle and ignored to tell him that your room mate has a motor vehicle additionally parked there with such and such lic. plate, and it fairly is okay to be there. that is definetly a mixture up in all events worried, yet to be a sturdy guy and stay away from complicated emotions with the roomie i could grant to pay for the towing and impound fees, then bypass and sign in the two plate numbers on the guards place of work and with development administration to stay away from this occurring lower back. Its still your fault. The guy probably told as soon as you left. Bottom line it your fault, your best bet is that you didn't see the sign but once they have your money your not going to get it back.

Unfortuntly if you did not talk to the manager you do not have any grounds to make them pay.
