He is one of the most internationally successful players in the history of basketbal(not just NBA). In terms of success, he has been the Italian league MVP and won a championship in that league, Gold Medalist with Argentina in 2004, NBA Champion in 03, and 05, All-Star(2005). IMHO, he is a starter reduced to a bench role(not too bad though he provides a hell of a spark off the bench for the Spurs). People were surprised when in the playoffs he averages 20-5-5, but he has always been able to do that. Popovich just doesn't give him the minutes(averages 29 a game, an all-star level starter usually gets around 36). He is one of the most complete players in the game. A good distibutor with wacky handles, a three point threat, and he plays defense while providing a steal or two a game. I love his style of play, its reckless, he always seems like he's going to injure himself. Definitely one of the best players to watch today.

He is a good player, and very enjoyable to watch.
Indeed, he seems to be able to take over the game when he wants to. What he is funny is that he also looks out of control in a lot of his baskets.
I don't think he deserves to be an all star this year as he had a slow start and Tony Parker was better but I am sure he will even be better in the playoffs

He is a top 20 player in the league. Look at his numbers and tell me he isn't. He doesn't even start. He has 3 point range, is an explosive athlete, and is very good on D. Spurs are going to win it this year, I have no doubt in my mind.

Definitely plays with more passion than any other player in the NBA. And with two championship rings and an Olympic gold medal, he has to be one of the best basketball players on the scene!! GO SPURS!

i LOVE HIM. i think he is awesome.. spurs is my 2nd favorite team (next to the pistons) b/c i like to watch him play... Go Ginobili :D
