That guys always think of their woman's physical appearance as when they first met them even 20-40 years down the road! I use to be a size 8 and let's just same I'm not quite that small anymore and my husband went on a trip to Mexico and bought me a dress and he bought a size 8! Too funny but so sweet!

Sweet but the thing is , he didn't no your correct size an did not want 2 offend u by-buying the wrong size. He is consider an smart, he would have hurt your feelings if he brought it 2 big.Your husband went the safe route.

Either that's just him or that's where he misses you being... I've gained a lot myself and I know my husband wants me back the way I was. He misses it.
If a man marries a heavy woman then he has no room to complain 10 years later if she's still a heavy woman, but if a man marries a lean woman he definetly has room to complain if 10 years later she's heavy.
Just my two cents.
Otherwise, sounds cute what he did.
