Open my documents on your desktop. There is a folder called shared documents. Drag and drop the Limewire icon into the shared documents folder. Now the other users can find Limewire in their shared documents folder.

However, you should install the application from your account and it will be available to all users through my programs.

First of all, have you discussed the ramifications of getting caught pirating songs, software, movies, etc via Limewire with your son?

Can you afford a $250,000 cash settlement with RIAA?

Before just blindly installing stuff on your son's computer, be sure you understand exactly what he's getting you in to.

Secondly, If he absolutely must use a Gnutella network client, I would suggest Shareaza instead of Limewire (http://www.shareaza.com/). If he's open to other, more superior P2P network, I would suggest Azureus (http://azureus.sourceforge.net/) or utorrent (http://www.utorrent.com/) for bittorrent network downloads. Bittorrent is far superior.

Finally, when you install the application and it asks you whether you want to install it for you or for everyone, select "everyone". If it doesn't ask you this question, then just have him find the program under c:\program files\\.exe and create a shortcut on his desktop.

Good luck, and I hope you have a good lawyer.
