If Oden is lucky he will be another Jermaine Oneal...Oneal sat the bench for a few years but had the chance to learn and develope and become an all-star. If he is unlucky (more in lines of what will happen) he will be another Michael Olowankandi (sorry tough name to spell), who was supposed to be dominant right off and has never really got there. Oden doesn't have the offensive skills yet and he tends to foul a lot and lets face it he was one "push" away from going home early (thanks ref's). He is not deserving of 1st team all American his numbers do not justify it over some of the other 2nd and 3rd teamers, but as they say in the NBA he has the "potential".

I think he will do good but it might take a while kevin durant will be an instant succes but oden will be taken 1st because now in the nba its hard to get a great center but the reason it wil take oden a while i because he has yet to become a threat to score down low and needs to stay out of foul trouble

He should be, hes done good at highschool and then college level. Theres a reason why he and durant have so have hype on them.
