The sound on this laptop worked fine last night, but today it is not. I checked the volume and it is on. I dont know what else to do or check. the headphones dont even work... can anyone help me?

Restart your computer and if that does not work go to sound it is in Control panel do a restart that will fix it

try rolling back your computer to an earlier date maby 1 or 2 days by using System Restore located in [Start - All Programs - Accessories - System Tools] If that doesn't work you may need to get the audio drivers reinstalled.

sound like the computer is muted. look for a key on the key board the has a blue Fn on it, hold that button down and look for a button with a blue picture on a speaker with a x through it. push taht button.
