According to the statistic I found in 2004 alone 504 Native people were doctors. That is .06% of doctors which is signficant considering Native people make up about .075% of the nation.

To get a statistic like that, you might want to go through the Bureau of Labor Statistics, or maybe the Department of Education. If you want education by tribal affilation, I would check tribal government websites.

I don't know if there are numbers...but plenty of people leave for an education in something important like that that they can then take home and offer the care to their community.
