i have a dell 3000 with no battery how can i turn it on with only power supply

just plug it in and press poower button. should work as if it had a battery.

You can turn on your laptop without a battery by plugging in your AC adapter into your computer, and an electrical outlet. It can't do ANY damage to your computer if you do that. The computer is made to do that. Just be sure not to unplug your AC adapter while you're using your computer. You will loose all of your data, and of course, your computer will turn off, because it has no power supply.

that's no problem at all. just plug it into the wall and power it up. just dont unplug it without turning it off.
