Think about what interests you. Really think about it. When you figure that out go to college to learn more about that and go for your dream job. Good Luck:)

An education is your best bet. Like college or Career college or Technical school. You will make the most money, faster than any other way.
If you can not do this your next bet is to go into something as an apprentice or in training. Some fields you can do this would be:

Prep cook or Fry cook
Fast Food Assistant Manager
Plumbing Assistant/Appretice
Electrical Apprentice
Heating and Cooling Apprentice
Hotel/Motel Management
Police Officer (pass the tests)
Fireman (pass the tests)
Lube Shop (work to management fast)
Cashier
Do it Youself Centers
Bartender

These are just a few. Find something you enjoy that does not require a degree. Take the training instead. And even a lower wage until you are trained. Some of these areas you can move up fast.
Dont work in DEAD END jobs. Always find one wher you can move into management or a lead position.
Good Luck

Colleges usually have people there to help you with that kind of thing. You should make a list of the things you're really passionate about, and really enjoy doing, then go to a local college and ask them if they can help you.(see if you can speak with a counselor or something?) Show them your list and get their input on what careers would suit you best. Since theres sooo much competition for average jobs nowdays, You'll need a "heads up" above everyone else to get the good jobs. thats where college comes in. It doesnt even have to be a 4 year degree type of thing. My friend went to school and the classes she was in took 2 months to finish. She got a job in a hospital, working with patients. Half the time she just has to sit in the room with them while theyre sleeping, so 2 months of college got her a job where she can sit and read, and watch tv half of the time she's at work, not too shabby if you ask me.

You're probably not going to like what I am telling you, but here it goes.

Learn to love what you do, find an aspect of your job that you enjoy. When you learn to love your job, it's easier to move into a higher paying paying position because the hiring manager sees your passion, your ability to find the positive in a low wage speaks volumes.

When you find a passion in what you are doing, a direction will become much clearer, then you can keep on developing that particular skill set with a purpose.

You need to think about what you would like to get up each morning and look forward to - what would you find rewarding and challenging to do each day.
Try a career counselor and take an aptitude test. It may point out interesting options that you haven't even thought about. Some rewarding careers require training and retraining and you must be willing to put some effort into that too.
Good luck - I hope you find a job that you enjoy!
