I'm with you. Let's remember the RINO, though. And lets also remember how the Democrats claimed the Independents would vote their way.
And let's pray for our troops. This must be very hard on them.
EDIT: His veto means "nothing?" How's that again? Congress cannot hope to get the 2/3 votes necessary to override his veto.

This "bill" is a joke. So full of other useless garbage on top of the ignorant rantings of the liberals.
I stand by MY President AND the military. They will do what's right and waht has to be done.
Bush will veto it. Good. It will go back to Congress and they will NEVER get the 2/3 votes needed to pass it. Consider this whole BS Bill done. Now Congress can stop wasting time and taxpayer money sitting on their a**es and banging their heads against the wall.

You left out the part about the Donkey Crowd stuffing the bill with twenty-one BILLION dollars worth of pork. Funny, I though that the Donkey Crown was touting themselves as the party of responsible government. Why are the spinich growers getting 60 million bucks if not to buy the vote of their congressman? If the trend continues, by 2008 we'll all be sunk in the deepest black hole in the universe, fiscal irresponsibility, brought to you by Nancy Pelosi, Stenny Hoyer and Dirty Harry Reid.

Two different scenarios could take place concerning this bill - the senate could do it the democrat way - vote it down so that it floats back and forth and conjures up endless debates and nothing gets done. Or they could push it through to Bush's desk where it will be vetoed and perhaps then congress can get on with more pressing business - and they might actually accomplish something.

I agree, we should have sent more troops in to begin with. Political views aside, I don't care anymore if we should have gone in the first place or not, we are there and instead of backing the people who need it the most we are here arguing and bickering on who screwed the pooch. People need to work with the problem at hand not the past.
Strategically, the best way to control and contain the violence, train the Iraqi's, set up a decent form of government and get out of that hell hole, is to introduce more man power, and resources. No sense in cutting and running when we know that if we do it'll just be over run with terrorists in a year or less after we are gone. And as much as I don't like the fact that we are over there, cutting funding to the troops will only lead to more casualties.

About time someone in the USA got real. Remember Vietnam, Cambodia, Korea and other Yankee mistakes over the last century. May be they will learn someday, though I doubt it, a leave the running of other countries to the people there. If they are so concerned for the world how come they are not in Eritrea, or Zimbabwe?

HAHA YUP THEY PASSED IT!!!
Bush can veto all he wants...then they send that veto to the Congress again...who already supported the withdrawal twice...they do a vote...it will pass...and his veto MEANS NOTHING.
Gotta love it when you have a president whos more like a dictator and doesnt even listen to what everyone is telling him. he doesnt listen to america. hes a dictator.
