If a woman wants to have children but has to have a hysterectomy, she will feel very bad about it. But it's not like you can decide not to have one. If you have bad fibroids, for example, you may have to have a hysterectomy and there is no way around it. So it's not a situation where regret comes into play. After a hysterectomy, most women are very please not to ever have a period again.

I had a hysterectomy whilst I used to be 25. I had two infants 15 months aside, one used to be 10 lbs, the opposite used to be 10.five lbs. Never had a cycle among the 2 as I used to be breast feeding.......and after the moment one used to be born, I breast fed her till she used to be eleven months historic and whilst my cycles resumed they had been very heavy and common. It used to be felt that I could grow to be very anaemic if I did not have one. My husband had already had a vasectomy as we had been greater than completely satisfied with having a boy and lady so I did not have any emotional battle to head by way of. They left my ovaries so I did not have got to have hormone substitute treatment. Now I'm 60 and I do not remorse it in any respect. I breezed by way of menopause with none of the natural signs (scorching flushes, temper swings, weight achieve, and so on.) and it used to be exceptional under no circumstances having to have a different interval after my kids had been born! It used to be all performed vaginally so no outer scars. You do not point out your age. I used to be more youthful than such a lot however healing used to be approximately 6 weeks if I do not forget adequately. Good good fortune subsequent week! I'm definite you can suppose so much greater whilst it is over.
