Well, im like, a really good trumpet player. my band director is always doing stuff about it during class. like, today, he told me to play a really high note with these two kids who couldn't really do it. i felt really stupid cuz i dont even have that part. I feel like he's singaling me out, but in a good way. i still dont like it though. please help me...i need advice.

Maybe your band director is smarter than you think. You said yourself that you're good. He might be trying to push you to get the best out of you.
If I were your band director and saw a lot of potential, I would try whatever it took to get you to live up to that potential.

He was putting those guys with you to show them that it could be done, because he knew you could do it. That means he has confidence in you, cap.
What you need to do is stop whining and step up to the plate. Like Spiderman said, "With great power comes great responsibility." If you're good, you need to face up to the fact that you're good, because when you're good, people call on you. You think on a pro football team, the quarterback b#tches when he runs scrimmage with the guys who are new to the team, and says, "aw naw, I don't wanna throw the ball to those guys." No, he steps up and does it, because he knows he's good. He shows them how he throws and how they can catch it.
Same thing with you. You are the Man, you are the Big Dog. Be gracious to the people who aren't quite as good as you, be generous, and take responsibility for your talent.

ill kick his *** for you if he tries to do something yet heavily merely take a seat as some distance removed from that dude as attainable your band director is the fool for selecting the incorrect guy dont communicate and concentration on some thing else different than that guy who youll be in detention with
